Hiya. Wednesday was my first Halloween. Mommy dressed me up as a little piggy and took me to the mall to trick-or-treat. We got a bunch of candy that I can't eat. Sweet.
I was going to lose daddy to the Bay Area again this weekend, but he had a change of heart last minute and stayed home to get some much needed rest. It turned out to be a fun weekend for me, but he was bummed that he had to miss Uncle Peter and Auntie Carol's wedding plus Audrey Horn's three month old party. His loss, my gain. :-)
Even though I had just figured out how to worm crawl forward last Sunday night, I have already mastered it by mid-week. It won't be long before I learn to crawl on my hands and knees instead of on my stomach.
I have also learned to pull myself up into a upright kneeling position. Daddy, you had better lower my crib before I climb out on my own... by accident! (To which daddy responds, "What is the point? It is not like you sleep in your crib anyways.")
Lastly, I learned to hold on to more than one item at a time. Until this week, I had to drop whatever I was holding before I can pick up the next item. Not anymore. I can now hold two items at a time, one in each hand. Mommy, daddy, I am ready for my drum set now.

We were wondering about you guys this weekend! Hope you got rested up, though we missed you. There was every bit as much alcohol involved in Peter & Carol's wedding as you would expect :)
Not sure when we'll get to see you again so we'll have to keep up with your lives via this blog. Hugs to you all!

Just like K said, we were looking for you at P&C's wedding ... I was like "I could have sworn they were coming" We missed you guys, but am glad you got some rest. You'll need it because soon enough you'll be chasing Cadence around your house.
