We finally got back home on Monday after another 6 hours drive. Mommy and daddy were looking forward to an uneventful week in LA. Boring!!! It was not until Sunday that we did something of note.
We met up with Uncle Dan, Auntie Cora, Evan, Uncle Mike, Auntie Hilda, and Ryan at Manhattan Beach to have lunch and hang out for the afternoon. I haven't see Evan and Ryan for a couple of months. Evan has been walking for a while and Ryan is crawling like a champ and close to being able to stand up on his own. I, of course, can't do anything of those things. Instead, I sat, watched, and sucked my toes. Mmm.. yummy. It was a fun afternoon though. We saw the beach, and ocean, and an aquarium.
Bad habits update: As a result of sleeping with mommy and daddy in one bed during our Bay Area trips, I no longer want to sleep by myself in my crib. The list now reads:
1) No bottles
2) No falling asleep unless someone carries me
3) No sleeping until midnight or 1am
4) No sleeping in my own crib
What behavior modification?

Week 31 (9/10/07 - 9/16/07) - SF Roadtrip Part Deux
Perhaps this post should be titled as "100 Snoopys". Anyways...
9/14 Fri - Four days after we drove home, we hit the road again to boomerang back to the Bay Area. I listened to CNBC on XM radio for most of the way up. I totally agree that Ben Bernanke and the Fed should cut the Fed Fund Rate 25 - 50 basis point in order to alleviate the current credit crunch set off by the sub-prime lending crisis. What mommy? You look confused.
9/15 Sat - Uncle Vince, daddy, mommy, and I went to Auntie Martha and Uncle Billy's wedding in Napa. The wedding was beautiful, simple, elegant, relaxed, fun, and intimate. The scenery and the weather were also perfect. It was just a great ceremony.
9/16 Sun - Snoopy, snoopy, and more snoopys. We drove back to Santa Rosa with Uncle Keno and Auntie Julie to check out the Snoopy exhibit. There were close to 100 Snoopy statues on display. I am officially snooped out. Check out the tons of Snoopy pictures.

Week 30 (9/3/07 - 9/9/07) - SF Roadtrip Part 1.2
My 10-day SF roadtrip continued...
9/3 Mon (Labor Day) - Met Uncle Dave, Auntie Ying, and Audrey for the first time. Uncle Dave is kinda goofy. Audrey, 6 weeks old, is so adorable and tiny. I can't wait to play with her the next time. We ate dinner with Auntie Sandin and Uncle Rex. Auntie Sandin thinks daddy will be a push-over dad. Hehe.
9/6 Thurs - Had lunch with Auntie Linh at Zachary's Pizza. Deep dish pizza... if only I can eat solid food, I would probably say YUMMO!!! Visited Auntie Linh's work, CPS (College Preparatory School). So nice. $26k/yr can sure get you a good education. Scholarship and early admission please. Had dinner with Uncle Vince, Grand Uncle Wilfred, Grand Auntie Teresa, Uncle Eirc, and Auntie Michelle. Wilfred and Teresa weren't so keen on me calling them grand anything. Eric and Michelle are now my Facebook friends. :-)
9/7 Fri - Hung out with Uncle Willy and Auntie Karen all day, and then went to Uncle Eddy's birthday dinner. I sat on my first high chair at lunch. Aren't you proud of me?
9/8 Sat - Tried to go to the Ghirardelli Chocolate Festival with Uncle Keno and Auntie Julie, but a longer than expected lunch derailed our plans. Instead, mommy and Auntie Julie did some quick grocery shopping at Chinatown. Daddy hates driving in Chinatown and he let us know over and over again.
9/9 Sun - Going home, finally. This time the ride only took us 6 hours, and I was asleep for most of it.
All in all, it was a great first trip. I behaved better than mommy and daddy thought I would. I totally think they should reward me for it. I also got to sleep between mommy and daddy in their big bed all week. I LIKE IT!

Week 29 (8/27/07 - 9/2/07) - SF Roadtrip Part 1.1
Roadtrip!!! Mommy and daddy took me on my first road trip to the Bay Area. So much happened that I will change format for this and the next two weeks:
8/31 Fri - Trapped in a car seat for the 8-hour drive to SF. Slept for about 5, awake for 1.5, and cried the rest.
9/1 Sat - Auntie Sabrina and Uncle Ryan's wedding. Met daddy's Bay Area friends for the first time. There were too many to name here. It was as if daddy had a second life outside of LA. Who knew? Anyways, the wedding was fun. I boogied to the tune of Bizarre Love Triangle. See some pictures from the wedding here.
9/2 Sun - Watching daddy play volleyball with his buddies was a bit painful. He sucked. Hung out with Auntie Vicky at night. BTW, Slingbox and the Slingplayer Mobile rocks!!

Week 28 (8/20/07 - 8/26/07) - Toga party?
I had my six month check up this Monday. I am now 26 inches long and weigh 17 lbs 6 oz. The fact that I have almost tripled my birth rate got mommy all teary eyed. Anyways, I have now grown to 50th percentile in height, up from 25th percentile during my last checkup. Yay! I am still 75th percentile in weight which means I am still cute and chubby and I can beat up other babies.
My whole family went to the Taste of Lexus event in Arcadia on Saturday. I got to see all these cool shiny new Lexus cars and then we drove home in our 1994 Honda Accord. Fantastic!!!
I went to Auntie Annie's birthday dinner Saturday night. It was fun and I got to stay out late. Too bad I couldn't stay to play poker. I could use some new baby shoes.
